Last week, activists and survivors held a twitter chat to raise awareness about the cases of Cherelle Baldwin and Anna Nepomuceno. Cherelle is a black mother DV survivor in CT who is currently being prosecuted for self-defense, and Anna is a Filipina mother in CA who was prosecuted for defending her children from sexual abuse.
