Please join Survived and Punished NY for a holiday letter writing event!

Our goal for this public event is to send cards to all of our incarcerated contacts. Folks with incarcerated loved ones are more than welcome to join us and write to anyone, regardless of their or your affiliation with S&P NY.

The event will begin with a grounding and brief introduction, followed by letter writing. Folks can come and go as they feel comfortable to do so.

We will provide snacks, letter writing supplies, and good vibes! Additional donations of food, stamps, cards and envelopes, etc. are always welcome, but no financial or material contribution is required to attend this free event.

We look forward to seeing many of you there, and on many other occasions to come, as we continue to strengthen our relationships with survivors of incarceration and all forms of state violence.

No cops. No security. No ID check. All gender bathrooms available. 2nd floor accessible via elevator. The People’s Forum is not a scent-free space, but we encourage visitors to please refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes or other scented products (including essential oils) and smoke far away from the entrance to the space.
