July 2: #StandWithTracy Letter Writing Event

Join members of Survived & Punished NY and the #StandWithTracy Defense Team on Thursday, July 2nd from 6:30-7:30 PM EST to write letters of support and encouragement to Tracy McCarter.
Tracy is a criminalized survivor who has been held at Rikers for over 120 days during a pandemic for acting out in self defense against her abusive husband. She has been denied bail 3 times and is yet again going before a judge on Monday, July 6th for a bail hearing.
She needs to feel our love, affirmation, and encouragement beforehand. Please join us to hear more about Tracy’s story and write her a letter of support.
